Pear Cactus Fruit Soap Bar

Prickly pear cactus fruit has excellent nutritional properties. It contains Vitamins C, D, K, and Omega 6 and 9! We use shea butter, organic coconut oil, and organic coconut milk, leaving your skin feeling soft, supple, and hydrated. (Wild harvest prickly pear cactus fruit is harvested and used in this recipe.)

Roberta and her husband painstakingly wild harvest the prickly pear cactus fruit, burn the needles off, clean, slice, and dehydrate it. After it dries, Roberta grinds the cactus fruit not once or twice but three times, leaving behind a fine powder and seeds. The seeds make an excellent exfoliant for your skin. Roberta does all of this before putting in her wonderful batch of soap.
