November, a time for gratitude.

This November, as the season of gratitude approaches, we want to share a bit of our journey with you—one that’s rooted in tradition, resilience, and hope.

🌄 Roberta grew up in the small town of Placitas, New Mexico. There, she watched her grandmother and mother work tirelessly with their hands to bring comfort to her family. From the smell of fresh pies baking to the lye soap curing in the backyard, these moments taught Roberta the beauty of creating by hand and the importance of hard work. 🫶 

Today, Roberta continues her ancestors’ craft, pouring love into every beauty product she makes—not out of necessity, but from a deep passion for healthy, beautiful products everyone can enjoy.

Since 1998, Roberta had the privilege of supporting me, her daughter, Chrystal, as I navigated challenges with mental illness and addiction. There were times I struggled to keep going, losing the phlebotomy job I worked so hard for. In 2006, God gave Roberta a vision in her soap studio: one day, she would employ women like myself—women who have been marginalized by mental illness and faced life’s toughest battles with addiction. Joyfully, in September of this year, we celebrated my 5th year of sobriety from methamphetamine use. 💪 

In January 2022, I joined Roberta as her partner at Enchanting Soap Collections, and together, we’re on a mission to bring hope to the women in our community. We proudly employ and empower women who have been justice-involved, have overcome addiction, or are simply rebuilding their lives. ❤️

With our community at the heart of our mission, we’re dedicated to giving back. We are proudly certified by NM True and NM Made manufacturers. We use only the finest local, organic, wild-harvested, and sustainable ingredients. From blue corn sourced in San Jon, NM, to locally roasted Piñon Coffee, each product tells a story of Robreta's nostalgic memories and the Land of Enchantment. We collaborate with local artisans, including potter Emma Lujan and wood-turner Courtney, whose handcrafted shave bowls and brushes complete our Shaving Soap Kits. Partnerships with beloved businesses—Hotel Zazz, Santa Fe Olive Oil & Balsamic Company, and Marble Brewery—allow us to celebrate and share the spirit of New Mexico in every product we make for them. 🌵☕🍫

Since 2021, it’s been our privilege to support nine remarkable women on their journey to transform their lives. By creating jobs, providing a supportive work environment, and donating a portion of our profits to local nonprofits in and around the metro area, we’re giving back in every way we can.

So, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of this journey with us. Because of you, we’re able to live out our mission every day, supporting our community, our family, and the dreams that started in my great-grandmother’s backyard. 🌱
